[00:04.08]Thai officials say rescue workers have found all 12 boys [00:10.84]and their soccer coach alive deep inside a partly flooded cave. [00:16.98]The group went missing on June 23 after they completed soccer practice. [00:24.36]The team then apparently went off to explore the Tham Luang cave, [00:30.36]near Thailand's border with Myanmar. [00:34.12]Other than personal belongings left at the opening to the cave passage [00:39.85]and hand prints on the walls, there had been no sign of the group. [00:45.80]For the past nine days, rescue teams have battled through thick dirt [00:51.48]and high water to try to find the boys and their coach. [00:56.52]The cave follows a series of underground passages for 10 kilometers into a mountain. [01:04.28]The governor of Chiang Rai province, Narongsak Osatanakorn, [01:09.52]confirmed late Monday that the team was in the process of being rescued. [01:15.40]But he added that they were not out of danger yet. [01:19.28]"We found them safe. But the operation isn't over," [01:23.60]he said in comments broadcast across Thailand. [01:28.00]Rescue divers had spent much of Monday making preparations [01:33.04]for a final push to find the boys, aged 11 to 16, and the 25-year-old coach. [01:42.48]Family members of the missing hugged each other as they cheered the latest news. [01:48.84]Many of them had been putting fruit and sweet treats near the cave each day [01:54.40]as an offering to spirits they believe protect the cave. [01:59.20]Aisha Wiboonrungrueng, the mother of one of the boys, [02:04.24]smiled and hugged family members. [02:07.40]She said she would cook her son a Thai fried egg dish, [02:11.84]his favorite food, when he returns home. [02:16.00]More than 1,000 people have worked on the rescue operation, [02:20.88]including Thai navy SEAL divers and others from across Thailand. [02:26.72]Australia, the United States, China, Myanmar and Laos and other countries [02:33.64]also have sent specialists to the cave. [02:37.68]Anmar Mirza, a leading American cave rescue expert, [02:42.40]told the Associated Press that many risks remain for the rescuers and the group. [02:49.84]He said rescuers must still decide whether to try to get the team out of the cave [02:56.52]or to instead provide them with survival supplies until water levels go down. [03:03.52]He described taking non-divers through a cave as [03:07.48]"one of the most dangerous situations possible, [03:11.16]even if the dives are relatively easy." [03:15.28]Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha [03:18.66]thanked the international teams and rescuers who helped find the group. [03:24.48]"The Royal Thai Government and the Thai people [03:27.68]are grateful for this support and cooperation, [03:31.58]and we all wish the team a safe and speedy recovery," [03:36.00]Prayuth's office said in a statement. [03:39.16]Early Tuesday, the Thai navy released a video that [03:43.44]showed the boys sitting on a dry area inside the cave. [03:47.96]They are seen wearing the same clothing they had on the morning they disappeared. [03:54.32]One of the rescuers says to them, in English, ‘ You are very strong." [03:59.72]One of the boys asked what day it was. [04:02.84]A rescuer answered, "Monday. You have been here -- 10 days." [04:08.12]And that's What's Trending Today. [04:10.56]I'm Ashley Thompson.
